TRAINING FOCUS AREAS


STRENGTH

We’ll use calisthenics and resistance training to target individual or sport specific needs. Receive personalized programming for gym or home use.

POWER

Using a custom plyometrics program, we help you develop power so that you can apply strength as quickly and efficiently as possible, especially in explosive sport-specific movements.

SPEED

Speed can be taught; speed can be learned. We focus on various aspects of speed development, such as proper sprint mechanics, acceleration techniques, force application, and max speed output.

AGILITY

We will incorporate features of balance, mobility, coordination, and reaction-time training so that we can develop your ability to quickly and effectively change direction, change levels, accelerate, or decelerate.

ENDURANCE

We will help you develop endurance through consistent, focused, and regular training sessions. If your endurance goals are sport specific, or simply running a 5K, 10K, or marathon, we have you covered with personalized programming.

Mindset

Take your performance as a student athlete to the next level. Our holistic approach to training includes instruction on sleep habits, nutrition concepts for athletic performance, and powerful concepts from the field of sport psychology (like imagery/visualization, stress management, and leadership development).

MATTHEW MARTINEZ


Coach Martinez has been an athletic coach for more than 18 years, coaching various sports at a highly competitive level. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, a Masters degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration, and a Masters degree in School Counseling. He holds a Level 2 certification from USA Track & Field, is SafeSport certified, and is passionate about helping athletes improve themselves. His philosophy is to always continue learning and growing as a coach, to bring his clients the latest and greatest technology. His programs are rooted in research-based practices that are proven to help athletes gain a competitive edge.
